Sleeping Bear Routes ("the app") is designed to work offline and does not collect, store, or transmit personal data. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.
We do not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information. The app does not require an account, login, or registration. No user data is transmitted to our servers.
The app requests access to your device's location solely to display your position on trail maps and track distance traveled during a route. Location data is processed on-device only and is never transmitted, stored, or shared with any third party.
You can deny or revoke location access at any time in your iPhone's Settings without affecting the app's other features.
Trail maps are displayed using Leaflet, an open-source mapping library, with map tiles provided by OpenStreetMap contributors. When map tiles are loaded, your device may make standard network requests to tile servers. No personal information is included in these requests.
The app does not use any analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or tracking services. We do not track your usage of the app in any way.
The app does not integrate with any third-party services that collect personal data.
The app does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. No personal data is collected from any users.
If we update this privacy policy, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated date.
