Yes. All route data, maps, and trail information are stored on your device. You do not need a cell signal to browse routes or view trail details. GPS tracking uses your phone's built-in GPS and does not require a data connection.
Open any route and tap "Directions to Trailhead." You'll be prompted to choose Apple Maps or Google Maps to navigate to the starting point.
Open a route and tap "Track My Location" in the GPS panel. The app will show your current position on the map and track miles traveled and remaining.
Sleeping Bear Routes requires iOS 13.0 or later and is compatible with all iPhone models running a supported iOS version.
On the Routes screen, use the filter buttons at the top to filter by difficulty (Easy, Moderate, Hard), activity type (Run, Hike), and distance. You can combine filters to narrow results.
Refund requests are handled by Apple through the App Store. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
